The new dryer has arrived and it is assembled. We have now started moving the first press over. We are hoping to be completely out of our old building by May. The end of this long building/moving process is in sight!
We’ve been incredibly busy the last few weeks and I’ve fallen behind on my building posts. I’ll try to get caught up over the next few days. Here are pics of the second floor windows and siding going up.
The new embroidery department will be three times the size of of our existing one. The walls have been insulated and the sheetrock will be done in the next couple of days.
With the roof done they’ve moved on to the siding. There’s a lot going on inside, too. HVAC ducts are going up and the fire sprinkler pipes are being hung from the ceiling. The low voltage wires for the phones, computer network, and security system have been run. Electrical wiring in the interior walls is also about done and will be inspected tomorrow. They wrapped up the plumbing a few days ago so now the sheetrock can be hung in the next few days.
Tomorrow is a big day. Pouring of concrete curbs will begin and PG&E will hook up the main panel to the transformer they installed almost a month ago. No more generators!
